993 Brake Upgrade - Whos using 7x16 fuchs

I read that to use the 7x16 911 offset fuchs you would need a 1/4 inch spacer. I just finished putting on my 993 on the SC and while I don't have a spacer it looks like it would need to a lot more than 1/4 inch. Anyone out there actually done this with a true 911 offset fuch.

Also interrested if anyones using 951 offset 7x16 without spacers. My set up uses a 309mm rotor.

Thanks

Jeff

Not exactly the same but I'm using 951 7's on the front with 930 brakes. I have 911 7s on the rear with 5mm spacer. The fins have been filed on the calipers.

You need to get the skinny from Bill Verberg. He is the brake guru here.

951 fuch's

I have used 951 7x16 wheels on my 911 with the 993 brakes and the large Coleman rotors without spacers. Bolt-on fit. I have a set for sale if your interested.

I also have a set of 951 8x16 fuch's on ebay right now.

Jeff,

I am using 951 16x7 with 309 Coleman 2 pc rotors from ProBraking. It's a tight fit but a fit nevertheless.
