Really? I'm surprised at that. Maybe I'm too naive then or I am too familiar about P-cars. Because I just assumed, I know it's a bad thing to do, that it is pretty obvious about the Targa top.

What do I like about mine? Well, I love what is basically a full sun roof since I have never been a fan of convertibles and never found a 911 locally with a sunroof in the range I was looking to spend.

I like the fact that my coworkers get a chuckle out of the fact that on really nice days I will take the top off the car for the 20 minute drive home from work. But they all admit they would too.

I also think it is hilarious that on the really nice days of the weekend my mom calls me to ask me to come drive her for weekend errands and shopping because she loves the Targa with the top off.

Probably both.,,. .

More the latter. Dont know how many people do, or don't know what years are what with our cars, but its usually the first question they ask.

As a Pelican whose name I can't remember at this moment said: "there is no better feeling than a drive in a cool Sunday morning with the top down and the engine screaming, and you couldn't care less about how the lines of your car look when you're driving in it."

Just take a Targa out for a drive with the top off on a nice day. Then, and maybe only then, will you understand what the car is all about.

I have a non sunroof coupe with no AC. The last time I drove the car in 100+ degree weather I understood what owning a Targa was all about

I miss my targa. To me the targa is sexy and a targa in the summer is the funnest 911 you could have. I like the look of the targa over the cab.

Because I can take off the top and crank up the A/C, couldn't do that with my previous coupe.

I rarely see Targas that I like. If there is one that I fancy, it is usually a very unique color. There's only been about three that I would consider owning otherwise they take away from the car's overall appearance--Just my opinion! Some people may HATE 911SCs, but I accept their opinion.

That blue one above is nice, but I'm wondering if there is some subliminal bias going on.

I think they loose some of that characteristic and fabulous roof line. Still if Sweden had more sunny days I would be tempted. Driving with the sky above, wind, sound and sun in your face is a large plus.

The only think I don't like is the altered roof line. I prefer the look of my coupe. Other than that, a 911 is a 911 is a 911....
