mating engine and transaxle
OK...I'm as physically tired as I've ever been while working on the car. I've tried to mate engine and transaxle...and it won't happen. I just read a couple of posts from the search, but I wanted to ask a couple of questions.
Should I use a little moly grease on the inside lip of the TO bearing...where the input shaft cover slides...I only greased the input shaft itslef? Should the input shaft cover get greased on the outside? I'll also try turning the crank, maybe that will help?

I got it!!!! Thank you Souk for your response in older post... mated it up, after I made a little progress I turned the crank just a little and it eased a bit more...turned the crank a little bit more and presto....!!! Oh, and the clutch fork is seated properly in the TO bearing groove....this forum (and the search function) are the best....
![]() I didn't use any grease on the sleave or the TO bearing...I didn't want to from the begining since I know too much grease will kill my new clutch plate.
