They say yes, dimmable, but also sell an add-on rheostat that works if yours doesn't.

Dimmable, sort of, I have it installed in my car. It flashes when I turn the dimmer and I get two, but similar, brightness. He also sells a dedicated dimmer. There's a thread from the carmagic owner here or on rennlist where he goes into details.

yes, they are...I went with bright LED's, they are pretty good at night and not overwhelming in anyway.....I have the "vintage white" that I bought as well and have not used them since I like what I have. If you are doubt check out the website and order and you will be amazed at what your missing. It's simply pulling out the old bulbs and inserting the new ones. Directions come with it, sooooooo easy to do.
