Easing Eng Drop Thought
Has anyone cut out a small triangle piece from the rear of the tunnel on the bottom so that the engine can just be dropped straight down with no interference for the tranny shift rod?? I have seen a picture of this on a race car, but wondered if any of the street guys have done this?? I would think you could fabricate a small aluminum cover to screw over the cutout to protect linkage, etc.

I kinda figured I wasn't the only one who thought that after my first engine drop. Makes you wonder why Porsche didn't put a bolt-on plate in that spot.
