Turbo O2 sensor position
Hi,
I have a race 911 turbo. I have a zork tube for an exhaust. The question I have is where should the o2 sensor be mounted. Before or after the turbo. And if one or the other, how far from the turbo or outlet pipes. Thanks Ed |

You should try to keep it after the collector for at least 3 exhaust pipes, but before the turbo so that it is real hot. The O2 sensor needs to be above 600 degrees to function properly.

How much power increase did yousee by adding just the zork tube versus the muffler?
Thanks, Fred

This motor was built ground up for road racing, so it never had anything but the zork.
Thanks Ed
