Think I would have a hard time letting her go. Then again I don't like replacing things - I like adding things

It is a 993. A late '95 C4. And you know, driving it home today, I was really amazed at how much it has in common with the '71. Just more and better, more and better. Except the weight, which is more and worse.

Another 993 convert - welcome to the club! Many ways to make her lighter... Enjoy!

BTW: Jon, I always admired your car. Did you give it up exclusively for the 993?

Ironically the 993 is the only other Porsche I really have a desire for (of course if money and space were not an issue, I'd have one of each!)... the last of the models with the headlights sticking up from the hood... Great choice, she's purdy...

Good choice, gonna leave it stock or are you slip sliding away?

I'd lusted abstractly after the looks of the 993 for a while, and I'd been keeping an eye out for a year. Test drove a few in the last couple of weeks and this one was the price v. condition winner. Last edited by RallyJon; 08-17-2006 at 05:17 AM.. | ||

Great choice! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the 71' go for?
