Does anyone sell an axle with new/rebuilt CVs on exhange?
Cleaning and repacking CVs is a NASTY job....I have an extra axle that needs a CV rebuilt/replaced and I flat out don't wanna do it.
Since I have a beefy motor with wimpy 915 CVs....having a spare ready on the shelf is a good idea..... Any vendors that have this? Vertex?

Hey Mike,
I don't know about an exchange set up, but you can buy a new lobro axle end to end for pretty cheap ($250-300). Might be worth it to just get one like that?

That's what I would expect to pay for an exchange .....CVs are like 60-80 each.....
I'm not adverse to doing the rebuild....I just hate the job. Like the smell of burnt tranny fluid....it's JUST nasty.....

I've had good luck with these guys for my Japanese daily driver...and they do Porsche units too.
I like the way they handle the rebuild process, they don't regrind...see their site for details http://raxles.com/ - Wil
