rubber bumper trim
Hey what are you guys using for trim between the bumper and the hood/fenders? I can't seem to find any aftermarket supplier of a ready-made strip for this. Do you generally fab your own, or molest an existing strip from something else? I'm sitting here with my 964 smile wondering if I should sell it or if I should try to modify it for the RSR 11-inch flared bumper/fenders.

we use a product similar to the vw bug (first version) fender welting. Some upholstery shops carry something like in in vinyl. It makes for a nice thin seal that allows a little movement between the parts. The C2 turbo front seal is not wide enough for your 11" RSR set up

I had the same issue with a 356 outlaw that i built. I ended up just connecting straight to the amp and having the Ipod in the glove box. Simple and clean.

This is what I call a fantastic impressing project!!
What type of rim’s will you use? The 964 have a large ventilator box in the trunk, how will it look like when you are done, and how have it been done during progress. Do you have any pictures? Will you use the servo steering? rgs Kjell R

I stand corrected
![]() I wasn't thinking of the prototypes, I forgot about them. Actually my factory1973 RSR has a 1972 quarter panel, but the factury welded the oil door up during assembly, the patch was butt welded and unless you sand it down you cannot tell its there. |

The first Carrera RS cars were built on the 72' chassis and had the oil door as well.
