Who can turn these wheels into fuchs for my 73 RSR??
Here I have 16" BBS wheels 9's and 11's, 3 piece wheels. I also have 16 by 6" fuchs. Who for a reasonable price can combine these wheels for me to have a nice RSR 16" looking fuchs. I know that it can be done so im looking for a good price.
Thanks Nathan ![]()

Before you spend too much getting 16-inch wheels made, you might want to look into tire availability for a 16x11 wheel. It's the reason a lot of guys end up going with 17's.

Oh, Good call Jack. I thought that the 16's could be stretched in some way to 17's?? Those BBS wheels came on a car I bought as did the 16" by 6 fuchs I have so Im trying to come up with the best idea to get the end result.
Thanks Nathan

(Lindsey racing) cuts out the 16" Fuchs centers and welds them or bolts them into 17" BBS barrels. Wheels are not stretched.
Yours may have trade or sale value, but that's as close as you'll get to turning those wheels into larger Fuchs. Doug

I see, thanks for the chime in. So if I keep the 16" size, I wonder how much of a problem the tires will end up being. If I can order the tires I will just build the 16's as I have everything to make them.

The 6x16's can be turned into 17's of any size, by cutting them up and either welding or bolting them to 17" barrels. There are several companies that do this, for somewhere in the $2500-$3500 range for a set.
You *might* be able to have your 6x16's cut up to mate with those outers, but then you still have 16's. The only way to get to 17's is to replace the outers as well. (so if you've you've replaced the inners and the outers it's a whole new set!) IMO, you could use the wheels as is, and just paint the centers black. They'd still look pretty darn good, provided you can get tires in the sizes you want. The other option is to sell them off to fund a set of Lindsey, Gary Stratton or Mirage wheels. A search on those names will bring up the contact info.
