So what kind of suspension mods are required? and what kind of brake mods? I want the conversion, but I also what to know what I have to upgrade to handle the conversion

At the minimum.....sway bars, torsion bars and depending on the cars current condition, struts and shocks....

Search these topics for products that suit your use and/or pocket book.....

I think it depends on what you want to do with your car. I have over 350 rwhp on stock suspension. It does squat a tad but I don't care. I may do something to my susp. someday. That is the beauty of moding a car. You can do a little at a time. My car is street driven only. I also have 930 brakes.

But do you have to upgrade due to the extra weight or due to the power?

I'm pretty sure a 3.6 weighs less than a 3.2, once you lose the parts not used in the conversion (stock flywheel, power steering, stock exhaust). The only essential upgrade is oil cooling.

Brakes and suspension are upgrades for tracking a car that you've made faster than it used to be. For street use, stock components will be fine. Lots of guys have done it that way.

And even if there's a net weight gain, it's a lot less than adding, say, a passenger (and for the record, even running with a very chubby co-pilot doesn't mean you need new torsion bars or brakes).

The 3.6 is out of an 94. He has two of them. And one out of a 98.

'94 is good but, can you get some numbers like mileage and leakdown?
Will the seller give you some warranty if you install yourself?
Is a clutch included? HE and muffler? Tin ware?
Two things never change in Engineering: It'll always cost more, and take longer than estimated.
Even if you don't beef up your brakes and suspension, what you have now most likely needs attention.
Caliper rebuild? Hoses? Struts and shocks? tie-rods? Tires? CV's? All bushings on swaybars and T-bars? 4-wheel Alignment? Corner balance?
A 911 is no fun to drive with sloppy components and a bad alignment.
In fact, it's dangerous.
What I am trying to say is that there is a lot more to it than just installing a 3.6.
Consider all the other stuff and the cost.
If you feel that you have it under control and can do what's necessary, go for it and have fun.
