Martini stripes question and request...

Has anyone ever seen these on a stock 911 SC or Carrera body style? IIRC, I have, but can't remember where.
Second question: if there are photos of these stripes on an SC or Carrera, can you please post them? Thx.

I've seen the stripes on 924s, but I've never seen them on the 911! WOW, I like!

I have been thinking about the same thing on my Ruby Red. I have someone on the list that is going to try to photoshop it for me when he gets a chance.

When my wife gets home next week, I can show you the collection of pics I came up with. I like the ones coming down from air inlet to front of car the best, along with something wrapped around the butt...

COOL! Those pre-race pics are great.

There was a guy that lived up the street from me that worked on Porsches and other German makes as I was growing up in his shop in his back yard. I remember seeing a Martini Edition 924 there several times.

Was the Martini Edition a 'decorative' option, or was there any 'performance' additions with the stripes? Looks like the interior was Lobster red.

Wonder if I could pull the Martini stripes off on my Carrera ('84 RoW)? I really like 'em.

Not an SC, but a nice car nonetheless.

everything I've seen , or read, has been a cosmetic package. The 924 got red plaid seats, the turbo and 928 could be had with white seats with big red and blue sections in them (yuch!), etc.
Most of them were white, but i have seen a targa on this forum in silver with the stripes.

Not sure if a madness exists for the Martini Graphics or not? Many, many variations were used. Thin, thick, wide and narrow, wavy, pin, split, triangular- who knows but they are uniquely recognizable of the Martini sponsor. I wonder if the painters and tapers who layed out the designs stirred or shook? I agree that the scheme on your sample seems popular on 924's as others have stated .
