Unstable rev's when cold- 1 solution

I was sufferring with a common problem it would seem for Carreras at least.
When cold the revs were all over the place.
I printed out all the helpfull threads suggested by Warren & Co. but descided to try the easiest first!.
How sensible!
I removed and sprayed with an aerosol (proper) 'electrical cleaner' all the plugs/sockets I could find incl. the Head temp sender.
As I cleaned all, I have no idea which was the culprit. But as she runs sweet, don't care!.
Thanks Guys!
Ben

Ben,

Unstable rev's on DME engines is often caused by a bad air mass meter. This will cause the idle to "bounce" when cold. You can test yours with an ohm meter between 2 of the pins (you'll have to look up which pins and what ohms) However, if what you did worked, go with it!
Nick.
