How do I properly strap my harnesses to my roll bar?

I used to have my harnesses attatched to the rear seat belt mounts. Many people are now attatching them to the roll bar so the length of the belt is decreaseed and therefore less stretch in the event of a crash.

Question is, what is the proper way to loop the belt around the horizontal bar of the roll bar and secure it with the belt tension bracket?

kind of hard to explain, but its through the bracket, around the bar, then through, over, and under.

Then its best to put something on either side of the belt to keep it from sliding on the bar. Most people use a sliced section of hose with a big clamp around it.

This may help, just replace the mountiing bracket with the bar. I always used a zip tie around the bar on each side of the stap to keep them in place.

I've also attached the web link to get the full info.

Hey Rattlsnak!!
