Good suggestions by all. Thanks.

No offense taken.

Guess we have to agree to disagree on that one. Having a front spoiler or a spoilier and a good splitter that is even more effective like what I am running without some kind of tail will be noticeable at speed, in cross winds or on something like Turn 1 at Pacific Raceways.

Dropping into Turn 1 at 130 or crossing the bridge at Vantage with a front spoiler and nothing on the back will be a real eye opener. BTDT Prefer not to do either again thanks

I tend to believe Porsche's caution about only running the front and rear spoilers together.

Good to see grown men acting like jealous school girls again Paul. Amazing to me just how hard some will work to embarrass themselves in a public forum. Mixing whisky and a key board can make for some good entertainment

I hadn't bumped my car's ad for a couple of months. With a full summer of hill climbs on the schedule, new wheels, r- rubber and a bit more HP from a new exhaust I hadn't thought much past driving it.

Ad is buried pretty deep these days and mostly forgotten. Always appreciate the free bump though, thanks.

It is important that you select the correct font for the stickers. Obviously Mark is only joking or is out of his tree because of the non original font that he selected.

See how much better it looks with the correct font...

Also with all the custom details that you have put into your car do you really think "911" describes it?

Tell them that it is more then a 911. Give it that "little bit extra"!

Don't forget to badge it like GM does, but in the Porsche font:

CIS - Continuous Injection System
CV - Constant Velocity Joints
FUCHS - Forged, not cast

i've followed the threads on this car and have lots of respect for the work that went into it...leave it the way it is...it makes a statement all its own that puts it into its own class...a decal will only lessen it

In my best Mexican accent:

Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!

Put your badge on the garage wall for decoration. Keep the car clean.

As a side note: I think Dane is showing some real class in putting up with the peanut gallery and their Photoshop funnies.

That's a beautiful, well-thought-out car. I don't understand the hostility over it.

Perhaps.

So Dane, I have a hard time believing that you give rats ass about RS badge placement. Is this thread just a proxie dig on someone with a "turbo RS" ?

It is indeed a great looking well-sorted car based on this thread here:

Sorry if I offended with my "turbo" pic btw.

DMCT, thanks! These cars are like tinker toys. Fun to change the look around and those look pretty cool. Any chance you can add the IROC scripts? One in silver, one in white and one in bright red would be fun if you have the time

One of the best transformations with graphics have seen is the RSR tan colored turbo with a duck. The "cuts" car is awesome with it's current graphics. Never liked it much as a plain car because of the color. I think it is an incredible stand out now.

Porsche? No offense taken. I thought the turbo script was pretty cool and nicely done. I figured most of us are just having fun with it.

Found this looking around tonight. Obviously some smart guys here. Never would have thought about doing it without the suggestions in this thread, thanks. Also adding a 935 mirror on the driver's side to warn off LE.

I voted for no rs on the back. I do like the Carrera decals in silver on your car

Ok here she is as an IROC replica....

Here's the black...

The white...

And finally the red... (which turned out the worst visually, but pretty cool in terms of the look)...

Hope this is what you were after... anything else you need just let me know...!

Cheers

DM, can you photoshop his rear view picture making the taillight surrounds and rear reflector satin black (with no script)? I had an idea, but couldn't get a clean slate to work with it.

Thanks...

rdane: My personal HO is that the car is awesome... If i were to cange anything, it would be the wheels, and I would probably go the SC route, with blackened centers. My other suggestion would be the addition of Martini style graphics on the deck and trunk, like these:
