It isn't a RS but what do you think?
I like the RS emblem so I was thinking about adding it to my car. Seems fitting enough. The "problem" is I have a real Porsche Carrera RS metal emblem and the older style Carrera RS decals.
I like the metal one but can't decide where to put it. The decals originally came on the ducks. That would go on the vertical section high right corner. The metal one came on the 964 RS and was set in the middle of the rear lid. My body guy and I originally thought it looked good bottom right had corner of the duck lid. What do you think? Going on this car.

An out-of-left-field opinion: I think that car would look great with a decal scheme that evoked the IROC look more than the older Carrera RS look.
They were originally delivered with ducktails.

Your car is an original, clean work of motoring art. Keep it that way. Adding unnecessary signage? Might as well put the rain gutters back on.

Sandy you're killing me here
Pretty much what everyone has said in the past. Thanks Jack. I have often thought about doing just that with red script. But three decals all saying Porsche seems a bit much. But the decals can really change the look on the cars. Guess I should do a photo shop. Here is what I am thinking of doing.

Your car isnt an RS replica. Its closer to the 1st IROC cars and more of an interpretation of the overall Porsche racing Mantra. I would think about your desire to build this car and what you chose to do. You could have made an RS replica but chose to add pieces from many P-car greats. Its as much "R" as "RS" and more "IROC" than all.
I dont think RS is fitting. My .02 |

What's nice about vinyl....you're not married to it. It can be stripped off and left nekkid or redone in another color.....

If it were my car, I'd ditch the rear reflector and run it with the vent holes along that panel.
The reflector seem very at-odds with R taillights, IMO. Oh, and I'm probably with Jack O. on the decal thing.

MHO. If it isn't an RS, RSR or IROC 911, don't badge it as such.

i like the decal, i would go white on your car but maybe gold would work with the interior color. don't you have the decal version of the porsche crest on the trunk lid?

RDane? You wouldn't like my opinion. But hey, opinions are like belly buttons. Everybody has one..
