Changed the oil when I got home, I was getting nervous about my oil being thin from fuel.
I just got back from a ride down to rt105 (country creamy) such a nice day. We missed some faces today, where are you guys? All the best,

Maybe next week we meet at Margaret's (on Main Rd in Westport, 1/4 mi N of Lee's Market) for breakfast at 8:00 or so, then head out at 9:00 for Westport, Adamsville, Little Compton, Sakonnet???

The whole point *is* new faces/friends! Of course you're both welcome to join in! How about planning to leave Westport at 8:30 (or 9:00)? Hungry/early folks can meet beforehand at 7:30/8:00 for breakfast at: Marguerite's Restaurant (508) 636-3040 778 Main Rd, Westport, MA Marguerites Restaurant, Westport MA. Its a hundred or so yards north of Lee's Market (same side) on Main Road in Westport's Central Village. We could drive up Main Road to County, then S on Drift or Horseneck, then back up Main Road, over to Adamsville, Little Compton, etc. then Mike takes over the nav to show us fun roads along East Bay?? Just a thought, and always open to better ideas. LMK your thoughts and we'll finalize by Friday night, OK? Phil

This group looks great! I just moved back to MA (grew up in Dartmouth) a month or so ago. I'd love to meet up with you guys (as you'll be in my backyard!) but I'll be in CT this weekend, which is really bad timing. I can, however, suggest a great loop to take if you're up to it: If you guys find yourselves in the Padanaram area of Dartmouth, I can suggest one of my all-time favorite driving loops. I've been driving those roads for 15 years and they still excite me! My friends and I (all car guys) refer to it as the roller coaster: 1.) Go over the bridge and take a left onto Smith Neck Rd, take that all the way past Round Hill beach and take a right onto Little River Rd 2.) Follow Little River Rd all the way straight through the 4-way junction so that you come out to the right of Devoll's store 3.) Turn left and then take an immediate left followed by a right (essentially this is a U-turn) and go back the same way but this time take a left on to Rock'o'Dundee Rd at the 4-way junction 4.) Follow Rock'o'Dundee straight through back to Smith Neck Rd 5.) Take a left when you get to Smith Neck and this will return you to where you came from There are some interesting elevation changes, switchbacks, graded turns and scenery on this run. Take it slow the first time though as there are a couple of tricky turns in there! Regards, Jon

I am chuckling at your description, only because I did that exact loop last night, checking out the new settings on the PSS9s. One additional caution: Some of the curves on Little River Road usually have sand and/or some gravel on them. You can figure out how that impacts your adhesion! Going left from Davol's store takes you onto Horseneck Road, which as a gorgeous drive. Follow Horseneck Road (you'll have to take a right along the way) to the T. Turn left there onto Horseneck Road (hey, I didn't name the roads!) and you'll be on a long straight (SL=35mph, so careful!) then you'll wind along to the East Beach part of Westport. Turn right at the stop sign onto Main Road...many options from there, including Main Road into Central Village, or R onto Drift Road (Fabulous Drive, all the way up to County Road), etc. Jon, where in Dartmouth are you?
