Hi folks- I also live on the East Coast- but way North and East of most of you-the Downeast coast of Maine. Well- this year, the roads around here are are about as good as they will ever be- thanks to stimulus $. So- if any of you or a group want to go farther than Bar Harbor and Acadia Natl Park- get back to me- I can give you a couple of good destinations ideas and some local trip routes. Here's to a great 2011 driving summer!

I know that this is a last minute shoutout but the ALMS Northeast Grand Prix is this weekend at Lime Rock Park. Friday is practice and qualifying. The race is on saturday. Just figured I would throw the info out there. I know that there is a few guys going from the Boston area.

Every other Sunday at the Starbucks lot which is on Route 140, just north of the junction with Route 24.

I may get there this weekend, if the wheel bearing/trailing arm is repaired in time.

Well saturday was an interesting crowd at MoT. There was everything from Ferrari's to modern day 4 door POS daily drivers. There were only two "older" Porsches, my '88 and a nice '79 Targa with a track setup. There was though a real nice GT2 RS as well. I only took a few shots form the iphone:

Hi guys, still lurking in the South Shore. After some great spring driving ended up selling the Wench in August. She has since been transported to the West Coast with her new owner. Might try to meet up with you for coffee on Sat. if you get together. Would be great to see some of the old Breakfast Club gang.
