911rips,
I think you are referring to Gooseberry in Westport. Only problem is parking is gone pretty early in the morning in summer, plus it is so close to home I wouldn't get much of a drive in! I would prefer to meet up with you along the way if you don't mind. I know the roads through the towns you mention, so let me know what time/where you'll be coming through and I'll be up that way. If you want to try a cruise through Gooseberry, or a stop at East Beach (lots more space, great for photos) that would be fun. I will post a route proposal after I check some street names, I do lots of bike riding up there and know the roads that are nice.

Art,
yes, Gooseberry Pt. why don't we try to meet up in Lakeville on Rt. 105. There is a spot down through the lakes that I thought we might stop. It is a large pull over with a blocked off road out to the pumping station. This might be a spot you could meet us at, it might be neat to stop at East Beach as you mentioned. I think we would be in the Lakeville area around 10:15. Sounds like you know the area better than me so if you have another spot that you would prefer we'll do that. Thanks for your input. I spoke to the Brewery yesterday. they are very excited to have us join there festival. Will park us right up front and will comp. all of us the admission fee to the festival. This is there first year doing this and they liked the idea of having some neat cars also, this could be a yearly thing. Paul

Sounds good. After 105, I would suggest going west on North Ave/Middleborogh Rd to Mason Rd, cross 140, turn South on Braley Rd to Quanoboag Rd, south on Flagg Swamp Rd to Collins Corner Rd, a quick jog west on Old Fall River Rd, and then south on Reed Rd all the way across Rt 6 into Westport. Reed Rd goes to Head of Westport where you can go south on Drift rd, east on Hixbridge and then south on Horseneck to the brewery (on left) or head to the beach a few miles down Horseneck. Going this way will also take you past the Westport Rivers Vineyard which is owned by the same family as the brewery. They have tours there, etc also.
Let's hope for good weather!

"Breakfst Club", Buzzards Bay Brewery Festival, Westport Ma.
Art,
Sat. Aug 4th, looks great, do you want to meet us up on 105 in Lakeville. There is a good stopping pull over right between the Ponds, it would be on your left as you were heading north on 105. I've planned a stop at that point anyway, for a catch up point.I would imagine we would hit that spot around 10:15- 10:30. Any thoughts to about how many cars will join you? Jim, Am hoping you might have a group coming down from your shop. It might be nice if you could join us at the 105 location and we could all cruise to Westport together. Let me know your thoughts on this. Anyone else that is interested please join us, this could be an annual cruise and event and could end up a neat, informal get together. Please let me know if your coming as I would like to give the brewery a rough head/car count. This outdoor festival at the Brewery sounds like a great time, live music and good food. The farm is a great old New England Farm with fields surrounding it, a long crushed shell driveway, stone walls etc.. Buzzards Bay is about a 2 mile run on a great road down to the beach, looking out to the Elizabeth Islands. Great place for pictures. Lets get some cars there! Paul c 617-799-1263

"Breakfast Club" Sat 4th
Art,
It looks like we have around 15-18 cars heading out from Plymouth Sat. morning, look forward to meeting up with your crew in Lakeville. There will also be some other cars that will meet us at the brewery. Would be great if we can run down to East Beach for some pictures. I'm assuming that is the beach just past the Bayside restaurant n Horseneck Rd. See you Sat. Paul (c) 617-799-1263

Sounds great, dress cool! East beach is right around the corner from the Bayside, I'm sure it will be crowded tomorrow! Picture taken there (look for this car tomorrow).

Jim and Dave,
Excellent Pictures. Thanks for showing up for the run. Seems like everyone had a ball! Going to try and and get the Sept. run organized. Seems odd that the first "Breakfast Club" cruise ends at a brewery, guess that is a sign of what the future holds. Enjoyed meeting everyone and loved the cars. As I was driving home I was thinking that the cars parked along the beach set on the angle looked like an old Monza Start. Paul
