I had been told before that my battery was a marine battery...but it was so long ago that I had originally thought they were talking about it being an Optima instead of what color the top was. I personally don't know what the difference is, but what 5speed says makes sense. From personal use, I have not had any problems with starting or running the car...well, atleast none that involved the battery. I've had the car since March.

You should also look at Odyssey, I have read some good things about them. When my big Enterstate goes out this might be my choice. I think the one that this forum talks about weighs in the neigborhood of 16 lbs.
