Just Fixed Stripped H4 Mounts - Have Extra SS Screws (free) If You Need Them

Hey all,

I finally got around to fixing my stripped out H4 retaining tabs by tapping the holes to the next size up (M6). I had a heck of a time locating M6 x 25 mm ss screws locally so I bought through McMaster-Carr. Of course they sent me 50 each of the screws and plastic washers, so....

If anyone else is in the same boat I was and needs the mounting hardware, send me a PM with your name/address and I'll shoot you a couple screws and washers for the job. I would recommend using an M6x1 tap for the proper fit for the screws.

I got the idea for the fix here, so I'd like to give a little back.

Mark,

I'll take a few of the screws. I know the routine at McMaster- buy in bulk and have lots of leftovers. I've got some seat mounting bolts, or some screws to mount a Momo wheel to the hub, or some SAE stainless bolts and silicon bronze nuts for muffler mounting if you'd like to "trade?"
