Gorgeous! Is there any way to design an air filter that allows people to see the trumpets?

You could run those fine mesh wire screens right on top of the trumpets. I've never used them so I don't know how well they work. Too course a mesh and you would only be filtering large debris, too fine and I don't think it would flow very good because of the limited surface area.

I think the mesh would restrict flow quite a bit. Cut it all aparts and make the mesh solid and see how big it the piece would be.....

Call you tomorrow Mark.

Cheers

Great work, Mark!

You could always make the top cover out of 3/8" Lexan to display the 'works" ...

Im planning on using MS, originally I was just going to run PMO'S as ive seen so many people try MS and end up ripping it all out for PMO's but recently there seems to be quite a few people actually getting it to work.

How is the idle air flow set? is there air bleed screws or is it via a throttle stop screw type arrangement?

Steve

Has anyone here tried running factory motronic with ITB's? I was thinking of a map-ecu device to allow map input instead of the AFM.

I'm pretty sure this will work - my bigger question is how big can one cam the motor and still use map sensor input rather than TPS only?

I don't know if anyone is running Motronic & MAP with ITB's but Protomotive in Florida has a MAP conversions for turboing 3.2L's. The difficulty lies in reprogramming the CPU. People often assume that they can use something to mimic the OEM air meter (and internal temp sensor) and then tweak a map or two in the CPU. That's a little like assuming that if you took something in French and replaced every word with the English word that you would have a translation.
