I've been told, a new or modified gas tank, a fuel pump and probably some wiring but I'm not sure.... Maybe you should send that engine to me, I also live in Ontario, (California)
thanks in advance ![]()

Why not install carbs on the 71E MFI motor? That would free you up to sell the MFI throttle bodies and stacks to me. (oh oh...did I say that out loud?)
regards, al

i love getting *****-slapped through the computer, so i like to throw up this graph.
![]() these numbers are at the wheels on 25" wheels. the run2 is the 2.2 E with webers, stock exchangers, stock muffler, crane ignition, 30mm venturies, full mechanical advance at 36 degrees. run 4 is the 2.4E stroker with 34mm venturies.

i think i got every bit of the original hp using the webers, that's all... and, true, it was slapping prior to this thread.

Like already noted, you will need the MFI fuel supply system (higher pressure pump, fuel return line, high pressure supply lines etc). You will need the correct MFI heat exchanger onthe left side to allow the warm up system to operate properly. I assume you already have a CDI type ignition system.
And, of course, you will need to find a set of hydropneumatic struts and 14" wheels to complete the conversion........... NOT!

You guys slay me. I couldn’t stop laughing.
Your ’71 911T should have all the plumbing where all you have to do is change the pump from the Bosch 058096 0009 (911.608.107.00) to the Bosch 058097 0001 (911.608.105.00). All the plumbing for the circulating system should be there. Of course you will need to install the fuel filter console in the engine compartment. That includes the ‘T’ hose assembly between the pump and console. If you find you need to do more (from some previous mod), it is a better arrangement to have the electric fuel pump at the front as in ’69-’70. Best, Grady
