Well.... holidays, work travel, and honey-do-list has kept me away...

I even had to redo all the measurements for the wheels...

A few photos to keep this alive while start working on it again...

Part of the reason to measure again is that I was not keeping the hub at the same height... remember Pythagoras' Theorem? Anyway, finally got the right numbers and sent them to Jeff Alton ( the folks that are building the wheels). Going with Kodiak racing wheels.

No updates until the wheels get here. I want to mount the tires, install the wheels and check qtr panel fit before I glue those puppies...

If you're not familiar with Cleco fasteners it's a great way to temporarily hold two pieces together when fitting your panels.

Clecos have been used for aircraft sheet metal fabrication for years. They're cheap and utilize a 1/8" hole with a lot of holding power. Larger diameters are available.

Great project, thanks for sharing your work...

Time to start buying tires... woooohoooo!! Please forgive the cellphone photos... better ones to come when I get home.

Ok, better photos of the wheels:

Rear and front:

Some deep dish...

Planning on using 335/35ZR17 for the back and 275/40ZR17 for the front...

He did.

A few more... these things in the rear are wide! 14" from border to border.... I don't think 335/35-17 are going to do the trick...
