For Safety's Sake!

I saw this message in San Diego at an event, and it seemed 'fitting'. Then on the DMV website, I found the 'Drive Smart' plate, and it all came together!....with the addition of a couple of little helmets! I'm not sure how many others will 'get it'.

The most troubling personalized plate I saw was "STFU", and I wonder how the vehicle liscensing agency approved it.

I like that! the armoralled tires and chrome suspension that never touches dirt and the hey look at me, I got a tonka truck sound system.

The truck dealers around the southbay load up the trucks with crap jackem up and call them "PEEdro Packages" cause the kids in San Pedro never takem off road.
Get a Plate with you personal 2 cents on it, it gos to a worthy cause I think.

Told my parents when I was 10 (when we were living in a tiny house in a not-so-nice part of Detroit) that I'd have a Porsche some day and have this exact plate on it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1199308204.jpg

I just ordered this one last week. While I was limited in the number of letters due to the my choice to stick with the police memorial plate but the cool thing is that the 2 missing letters still appear off to the side courtesy of the 'L'aw 'E'nforement designation. Tried to pick a plate that meant something but at the same time wasn't obvious such as 'BOOST' (which happen to also be available).

My last car I sold to buy my 911 was a Pontiac Trans Am Ws6, i just got "red ta" just to make it stand out from the rest,There is nothing wrong with making youre car that you pay for, youre own personal piece of art, eventually i will pick up another one for this car,as long as you dont get one of those "car4u2nv" plates i see in new york all the time

One of our PCA members has one that reads:

funny....

Interesting how 66% thought owning an vanity plate was stupid, but so many of us have them. I have never had one in my life, but felt it was a good idea with my Pcar.
I know it tougher to leave the scene of a crime, but since we are all good boys and girls, this is not reallhy an issue.

I did feel funny when I first got it, but now I think most people get it; kind of...

My plate is the same as my signature for those that don't know....;-)
