fabspeed race cat / Euro premuffler / cat bypass

What's the difference between a cat bypass pipe and a euro premuffler? I also say that fabspeed manufactures a race cat for about 500.00 Does anyone have any feedback on this?

Most cat by pass pipes are just straight pieces of pipe.

A premuffler has a shaped interior usullly w/ louvers or packing that helps attenuate some of the harsher high frequencies from the exhaust noise and guides the exhaust expansion efficiently through it

As Bill said, the cat bypass is just a straight pipe. I have used the bypass and the euro pre-muffler (all stainless from Fabspeed) on all my 911's over the years. I prefer the pre-muffler on my C2 because of the exhaust note.
Good luck -

Thanks for the replies. When you bolt on the pre-muffler do you have to make any other adjustments since there is no/little back pressure?
