But this time I have to...I bought a SC gas tank off the board from kcpaz a couple weeks ago. We agreed to a price and to include shipping. He got a ridiculous quote from UPS (more than the agreed purchase price) and said he would try other methods...USPS, Greyhound etc. He had yet to cash my check I might add...now frustrated with the other "solutions , he went back to UPS and essentially begged them to reconsider the size of the package. They agreed to ship it as a standard (not oversize)....the shipping was still 3 times what we expected. It arrived with a VERY creative box

The tank was in great shape, he busted his butt to get a deal done...even though he could have backed out of the agreement at any time.
My hat goes off to this kind of board member.

It's refreshing to see someone actually take the time to properly package an item. Thumbs up to KCPAZ!

I recently won an auction for a rare/expensive rear bumper for a '73 T/A. Seller charged a butt-load for packing/shipping. How did it arrive? Wrapped in one (thin) sheet of bubble wrap, with the ends sticking out. Fortunately, it wasn't damaged, but could have been much worse.

What are people thinking? How ****** stupid can you be not to wrap/pad/box something that someone just sent you a bucketful of $$$ for?
