Intro

Hello All,

I've been hovering around for a while and wanted to introduce myself. I recently bought my all-time favorite, and many of yours as well-a 911. It's a 1980 911 SC with 3.6 conversion with 993 MAF injection and 993 exhaust. I bought it from another Pelican, who bought it from a Pelican. I managed to take it on a nice 40 mile drive before the NE snow arrived. Here's hoping for a short winter.

Anyway, this looks like a good group with lots of helpful info. Hopefully, I might contribute in a small way. I'm OK with the wrench. I spent the last 3 years rebuilding a 1979 MGB (gratuitous photo included). Sadly this must go now as the wife wants a spot in the garage.

Just wanted to say hello and a Happy Holidays to all.

Cheers,

Pat

3.6L in a SC, OH YEAH! (Light weight with big balls)
I love the British sports cars. I had a 59 TR3 and a 59 MGA. It warms my heart to see the classic sport cars restored and then sold to new owners. It's close to a spiritual act, sharing the passion of owning a sports car.

Like everyone else have said - both are BEAUTIFUL! Love the B. My first car was a '76 Midget. Many, many memories. I met my wife while driving it.

Of course, the 911 is simply gorgeous! WOW, and a 3.6 to boot. Gotta' be a blast!
