I'm replacing my trailing arms on my 72 as well.
You will need the later hubs as the wheel bearing is larger than the old steel arms, wheel bearing as well. The brakes and "E" brake should all fit. Kent Olsen

I was under the recollection that the hubs and stub axles would fit.
Yes the ’74-> bearing is larger (80 mm OD, 42 mm wide), it is the OD and width that changed, not the ID (same 42 mm). The hub is slightly different starting in ’74; the hub has the wheel centering feature. Later (I don’t recall the date), the stub axle did change with a larger thread diameter. I think this was simultaneous with the ‘self-locking’ nut doing away with the cotter pin (the big flat washer changed also). Of course there are several different stub axles to accommodate the 100 and 108 mm CV joints and the 4-M10 bolts + 2-roll pins, six M8 bolt and six M10 bolts, with & without gaskets. There is even one welded to the outboard CV joint. Best, Grady
