just repaired a friend's DME at the VERY same solder points as Steve noted. I've a friend for life now. Only cost him a bottle of First Growth wine. Hell, he was JUST before sending it out...threw a great DME repair party to celebrate.....)heheheh)

Awesome thread - great pics! We just had my husband's 3.2 cabby towed home after a no-start. That was proceeded by intermittently shutting off for just a second or two... All good wiring, swapped the DME relay etc., no go... If this turns out to be the problem and we can fix it ourselves, I absolutely swear I'll ship you a box of homemade cookies... Look out garage, here I come! angela
