I use old rotors to teach the six-year-old how to catch a frisbee. He needs a bit of toughening up.
Now I need to find some smaller Porsche parts to fix his teeth. |

Used front rotor holds a 3-wick candle very well. Although I haven't lit the candle in about 3 years, so it just takes up room on the coffee table. Maybe time to find a different use.

I throw one into the bottom of a planter when I re-plant a big plant like a ficus tree. Helps keep them from blowing over in the wind

Al,
Great paper towel holder. What part is that? I don't recognise it.

Chris,
Thanks. The paper towel holder is made from a valve cover and two rods. Cut a length of PVC pipe to hang the roll from. Got to do something with the old lower valve covers when replaced with the later style. (good eyes JFairman) al I'd cut the rotors in half and weld the halves together at right angles to make bookends.

The guy who used to build my VW motors had a wood burning stove in his shop....the vent stack was made from old cylinders which made for excellent heat exchangers.

Got to love these last two. That retro dinette table is very cool. And I'd love to see a piture of the woodstove smoke stack made of engine cylinders. Tremendous idea!
