So now my son is 17. I let him drive it to a couple of shows recently as a reward for grades and how mature he has become. I was behind him on the road and the looks he got were amazing. Can't say I was not nervous watching him drive. No other updates just driving it when I can.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1343163293.jpg

Monster truck's not doing it for him these days?

I was 17 when "my" car and I were in Excellence. You will both look back and realize how special the car and your relationship is. :)

Oh no Scott he burns enough fuel weekly to put me in the poor house. Hope you are doing well by the way!

Still loving the days in this car. I have to admit I certainly have not driven it nearly as much as I should with the other projects coming in, but it still is the most enjoyable car in the fleet.

So far so good, got rid of of my DD -C43, so now she's my DD now with 112k miles.

I've kept it pretty stock so far and have only changed the radio. Still looks good, but has some wear and tear on it. If you look closely at the amber light, you can see a small crack where the wife hit the side of the garage backing out in a rush. The trunk lid was changed as she also backed into an ARB bar on a SUV parked outside of the garage - apparently she doesn't like rear view mirrors. She rarely drives it anymore so that's a good thing.

Been mostly oil changes, brakes, rotors, tires, brake switch, bulbs, regular stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. Car has been a pleasure to own and I'll be spending some time over the summer changing plugs, filters, etc.SmileWavy

That is really cool. I am glad it has been a dependable car for all this time. I certainly miss that car at times but this is what has grabbed my time in the past few years.
