Audio trouble on Speed?
Anyone else watching Sebring on Speed and having audio trouble? They keep breaking up, very annoying.

All the good equipment and the A-team techs are at the NASCAR race in Bristol.

I don't know, I'm even getting it on my satellite during comercials, maybe just
a coincidence... Looks like the RSR is a better car than last year, they lost some good teams because of last years car. It would be nice to see them beat the Ferrari...

Well, my TIVO picked up the electronics hickups in the audio too. Right now I'm at the beginning of the race. Does this audio issue go away later (for those of you watching this live)?

I think there was also a problem with the lap-times crawl. It just showed times, not cars or numbers.

It was very annoying. It went away after the the break for the circle race. I feel better knowing it was just not a local problem. We all suffered together.

They talk about it on the website.
http://auto-racing.speedtv.com/article/raceday-the-race-to-get-on-the-air/ This is the first year they are broadcasting it in High Definition and dolby surround sound, so maybe that has something to do with it. It's really warm and humid here today too if that may be messing with the electronics. Or maybe someone spilt a beer on a computer keyboard... The track is only a 90 minute drive for me... I should have gone, then again I still have time to catch half of it if I left now. Nah, I want to work on my car some later today with the sound on the TV turned up and a window open so I can hear it outside.. |
