Tony, did you check measurements of that flare? If you haven't, they are described in great detail here: welding flares, longhood RSR, alignment questions.

About halfway down is Eimkeith's great post with definitive numbers.

Hello All,
Small update, but the flares are finally on...been a slow process between family time,honey do's,work,etc. (also find myself jumping around alot....Is this normal I ask?)
Also this is my 1st ever restoration ......so i'm learning as I go.

gonna take the body down to bare metal and go from there.

That's the high build primer,it comes in various colors,and I felt it would best suit the color I have chosen for the base coat...2007 911 RS GT3 GREEN

Thats the color that inspired me too, but I ended up going vipergreen, with black accents. Close enough. Your car looks like its coming along great so far!

Due to my 1st setback (not adding hardener to the primer) of my project , I will be soda blasting the tub and in the process will be going a different route as far as color.
I will be doing a Gulf Blue (code 328) with a Gulf Orange (019) stripe running from front to back only.
