Then I see this post.
I think "my God, what has happened?"
Mark, you know we are all with you and Beverly. Keep your chin up and let us know how things progress.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Our thoughts are with you. My son and his wife are both recovering from a similar incident this past weekend. T-bone - driver in the other car ran the light and hit the car boradside on the passenger side. No one was seriously injured, just bruised.

Now is the time for you to be strong for her to help her in making a sucessful recovery.

This makes me realize how vulnerable we all are, and think about what is important in life. My thoughts are with you both.

Life is so fragile, as others have said, we need to enjoy each and every day that we have.
My co-workers father was at a D.E. a couple of years ago....some guy missed a shift, lost control, hit the wall, was killed. Life is short.
When you and Beverly come thru this, I hope it makes you both stronger and wiser.
My thought are with you and your families.

I'm so shocked to read of the accident. This is just terrible. My thoughts and prayers are with Beverly and you. The body has a way of shutting down when injury has occurred, to heal and not be too traumatic to consciousness, I'm sure this is what's going on and recovery can be slow, but happens nonetheless - I've seen people take several months to recover from such traumas, but the DO recover.
Looking forward to hear from you and her progress....
