Most Commonly Repeated Questions
What are the most common questions that get asked over & over again on this bbs without doing a search?
Let's limit it to questions that would actually be answered by a search - there are a few queries that have never been answered. These are the ones that might get priority to be added to the wiki first. Here are a few candidates: What oil should I use? What's the best tire (usually w/o giving the wheel size!)? What transmission oil should I use? How do I operate the heater controls? Can I fit 993 brakes on my early S? |

Wheel fitment (ie will 15x8s fit under my narrow body?)
Fuse and relay identifications (or why wont my car start?) Brake fitment (hub/rotor/caliper/wheel size) Sparkplugs K&N Filters How hot is too hot? Valve adjustments (how often, how hard, etc)

Here is a perrenial winner .....
I just checked my oil and it was low. I added a couple of quarts and now my car is smoking really bad. What is wrong?

If it were "What are the most common questions that get asked over & over again on this bbs", then I'd say the answer would be:
"Have you conducted a search on the subject at hand?"... ,................................................. ..............................Otherwise, ALWAYS oil related questions. .....God bless the newbies,.......damned the lazy. Best, Doyle
