Help Identify the type of 911

Recently I bought a 911 from the father of the original owner an Army Captain that herself told me she bought it in Germany. The car is in excellent condition in and out everything originall. What I learned is thanks to all Fellow Pelicans. Here are the facts.
2.7 engine code 6372802
vin. # 9117311396
Targa, Turbo Look Spoiler
No gas pump, No Air Condition
Fabric Interiors, manual windows
radio antenna at driver side fender
alternator 5 blade fan # 9011061015R
Reinforce crossmember as carrera
front and rear stabilizing bars
5 SPEED, stnd.
flares in back (someone said there where sc flares
Manuals go up to 74 2.7 and 78 and up 3.0 so What should I used
Only manuals that I have are: Haynes and 101 Projecs and you, Masters!!!

'77 RoW targa, the flares are not oe(they appear to be SC/Carrera), neither is the spoiler(which appears to be a 3.3 turbo), the head lights have been converted to '70s US spec as has the front bumper position/turn signal lights, can't tell about the rear position/turn lights

Bill: Thanks for the imput anf sharing light over specs. The rear lights works as expected form a US car. Only minor items has being fixed with Pelican parts of course!
One last Question: It is a 911S or 911?

You should consider upgrading that fan to an 11 blade one, in PR temps are playing against you. And if you can afford it a carrera oil cooler. Just my 2cents.

One last Question: It is a 911S or 911?

For '77 J series carsthere was no RoW S
the RoW line up was; 911, Carrera 3.0, Turbo, your's being a RoW was just a 911 w/ 911/81 engine and 915/60 5 speed

In the US the lineup was; 911S, turbo, the 911S used 911/85 engine and 915/61 trans

Both 911/81 & 911/85 are rated 121hp@5800, 235ft-lb@4000, 8.5cr

Make sure it doesn't have the exhaust thermal reactors under the engine (don't know on ROW cars - US only, I think), and you may get by w/ the 5 blade fan (11 blade is a really good idea, though). Make sure you get the correct diameter 11 blade (couple different sizes).

Don't know if the '77 ROW cars had front oil coolers or not. Look inside the RF fender in front of the tire by the horns. If it has a trombone cooler, it might be adequate depending on your driving style.

It does not have thermal reactors and yes it has trombone cooler. Some time ago a Pelican friend toll me to strip the heat exchanger which I did. My next proyect is to buy a 11 blade fan and H4. I use this car only once a week on sundays if it not raining. Just take of the top and enjoy the sun and wind

Thats me next project! the highest temp that it has run was 85- 100 as the dial shows

At the begining I did not like the color but because is original, and almost all are red, gray, black. It calls the attention. The only bad thing for a cop it is easy to spot!
