911 runs most weekends

Mine is running pretty well whenever I'm not messing with something. I try to make sure its together and running for each weekend. Unfortunately I sometimes miss a weekend waiting for parts. Right now my CIS is apart and I'm waiting for new injectors. Hope to have them in this weekend. Its not that it doesn't run, I just want it to run better.

I really want to vote as mine runs 100%, but I feel that if I vote it could knock the planets out of alignment.

It can be (near perfect), but I'll always tweak it (better?) who knows, it's what I do with ALL my cars (new or old)!

Except for the AC, mine has run great. So I guess I'm in the 99% category.

Mine is a 88, and only 93K on the clock, plus all stock

I have plenty of other "Projects" that are apart

Mine is an 87 with a newly rebuilt engine. AC went dormant for the winter (annual event). Clutch sometimes sticks, ever since the rebuild in May. There's always something to fiddle with.

My '84 runs perfectly as far as I am concerned. However, the car is never perfect; there are always things that could be done, but I'm talking about mostly small appearance items/systems or items that came with the car that I purposely removed or disabled (like AC, cruise control, windshield washer system, sound pad, etc.).

Honestly, as has been said here already, part of the fun is maintaining the old car. If it were perfect all the time, I'd still be looking for something to do or change on it.

Sorry, I missed the poll, but was out driving 4200mi the past 10 days. '69 E never missed a lick, though it was a bit down on power from 6000-10,000ft. I was not alone and did not have the longest drive. 12 cars from the east and midwest/sothwest to SLO and 3 back. The rest left their cars out west for some winter fun. In the southern climes we can drive all year.
