Jack, it looks like you kinda squished the pics a little to give it that longer lower look too, Eh?

No distortion in that shot, except a kind of wide angle lens and the effect created by having the camera so close to the ground. It lets the horizontal line of the deco trim create a false sense of how wide the car is.

911s are an odd shape. The angle you shoot them from can make them seem very wide and squat or very thin and long or very tall. Take enough pictures (145 at a pop, say), and the car will come out with about a dozen different personalities.

At nearly 18 years of age, with some impressive rock chips on the hood, my car still turns many heads. She's a real looker in this specific color and I still plan to post pics to substantiate all this bragging I've done.

But I'd agree that the 911 makes a great 'rat' car too. Some seat and carpet rips, a little bailing wire and duct tape, and you still have a SEXY car. In fact, rip the radio out, along with the back seats, spare tire, horn pad, blower fans, cruise and air and you have arguably an even more beautiful car.

Randy has built a car just for Randy. Jack has built a car just for Jack. I'm building (slowly) a car just for me. I suppose it would be frustrating to have 'diamond' desires and 'carbon' resources, but fortunately I'm just after a comfortable racing legend with stunning, classic lines and superb performance characteristics....so you see I'm already there.

Your world is what you decide it to be.

Of course you can just turn down the lights! Even my old clunker was drawing attention this evening basking in the neon.

No one ever said "When I grow up, I want a Nissan."
I think 911 are probably the most beautiful cars around regardless of year...(not quite sure about the 996 but that's another story)

I'm just thankful that I've been blessed to own one. Had to sell my kidney though.

It's 14 years old but people still look from their Nissans and Mitsubishis!
