is there a difference between T and S distributor ?

Hi
I plan to upgrade my 2,4T engine to S spec. (Weber 40 IDA, 9.5 CR JE pistons, S cams, S heads, MSD ignition, SSI exhaust)

If I put a pertronix and an S rotor in my stock distributor, will it be OK ? will it need to be recureve or recalibrated ?

Thanks
JD

Here are the advance curves for the 2.4 and 2.7 engines, pre cis
They all use essentially the same spec 5*ATDC@900 w/ vac. connected and <38*BTDC @6kw/ vacuum disconnected
