A/C Hose Modification?
The Pcar has an air scoop for a brake duct, and the hoses (911-573-154-03-M260) coming off the A/C condensor at the front are basically rubbing against the back-right edge of the scoop. It is not practical to attach/dettach the brake-cooling hose to the back of the scoop on a regular basis.
The hoses seem far to stiff to move them around. Is this really the case? Is there a possible longer hose substitute from somewhere else in the system? Other option? Thank you in advance.

You can make a cheap easy protector for the A/C hose. Just get a small piece of 3/4 rubber hose. Make it a couple of inches long and then cut a slot lengthwise. It will open up and wrap around the A/C hose. The back side will be open but who cares. Just put the rubber hose piece between the rub and the hose and it will last for years. Cheap and easy.

Good point GH85...that will protect it from chafing. I was more concerned about not being able to slide the scoop hose and clamp on...I was really hoping that a swap out of the hoses with longer ones would work. They could be pushed more out of the way (then use your chafing protection).
