big warning light module on dash
Later 911s had an expanded warning light module on the dash - mounted above and to the R of the heater control levers.
Looks like this:  Could somebody supply the dimensions of that unit? Also does anybody know if it is a 1-piece thing or if the black plastic bezel is a separate item? Thx! |

1 5/8" X 7/8" OD. I do not know the inside diameter or depth, because I have yet to pull the unit from my dash (knock on wood). It appears that it is one piece, the bezel does not appear to be separate.

I know the red lenses come out in two pieces, a top and a bottom. I do no know if the bezel can then be removed on its own, but I assume it can. I'll try to remember to check tonight. I need to replace these lamps so I've got to dig in to it a bit anyhow.
