Revoving Momo hub

1986 Carrera. I am trying to remove my Momo steering wheel hub to get access to my steering column. I have the nut off. When I pull on the hub, it pulls about 1/8" then hangs up on something. I have tapped, wiggled, and pulled, but I can't get it off. I thought it was supposed to pull right off. Am I missing something?

It is. Tap it down to re seat it, put a little WD40 around the splines, making sure your pressure is straight toward you, pull or pry gently. It should come.

It is probably in a bind. Pulling it off by hand can sometimes be a hassle. If it doesn't come off easily I usally use a gear puller.
