Yep, they just finished a nice write-up on it, should be hitting the US any time now I think. A little flattering and maybe over the top, but it's cool.

The car is now "complete", though it will of course never be done.

As part of the article Jamie Lipman came over from the UK and took some photos of the car. The guy is a genius, no other way to put it: James Lipman +++ Photographer United Kingdom

In any case he got a ride and let me put some of his shots up here, so I'm going to post a few. This is what truely good photography looks like to me:

Stunning really. Compliments your vision, build quality, attention to detail and the final/current product. Some of those are cliches but in this case they are spot on accurate descriptions of an out of the box (oops did it again) vision executed with perfection!

Big kudos to you and your team of builders. Nicely done!

I look forward to reading the article and I'm sure I'll enjoy the article immensly knowing I watched it all come together right here on the best Porsche BBS on the interwebs.

Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic job and the article is a really good read. I think you are downplaying your role in the build from what was written in the article.. As an engineer and car builder myself I can definitely appreciate the amount of work and time that has gone into this!

Great to see it finally without blue tape to appreciate the final look too.

Congratulations on this build. Having just returned from the middle east, I spent some time in Dixon's at Healthrow looking for European 911 magazines. And there was your car on the cover, CA tag and all. Those guys were clearly impressed with the engineering that went into every bit of the car and with the fit and finish. Great looking car. Can I have one?

For those of you going to the Legends of the Autobahn next week, I will bring the magazine with for you to view. Look for a white RS clone.

peter, awesome rig. couple of questions: Where are you venting your fuel cell to? Where you able to get the fuel gauge to work correctly?

thanks

I love the composition of the first shot. Gray forboding sky, mean gray car, and a squiggly challenging gray road leading from the car to the sky, with the green hills on the sides.

Thanks again guys. I particularly like that first shot too Flieger.

I just arrived back in the US this morning; I'll ask/ check how we did the fuel cell venting. The fuel level gauge works pretty well, it's just a pain to adjust correctly- you need to adjust full and empty multiple times to get it accurate.

I'm off to go look for a copy of the magazine and see how that turned out, haven't seen it myself yet.

Below are a couple more shots, these taken by Hayden, of the car next to his completely stock 912. Yes, I measured and his 912 is exactly stock ride height!
I really enjoy seeing the evolution:

Yea, and it's pretty quick too... Maybe you shouldn't have sold it?

What! Kojo did the right thing and he's enjoyed seeing what's being done with it... beating nationally autox prepped GT3s and GT2. However, it's a tad different since he sold it to me. I think it looks great too !

Ur both right I love/d that car, but I'm glad to see that it's being driven and that someone has gone the extra mile prepping it.
