Yet another decklid alignment question
based upon the pics below, would someone be able to tell me how best to realign my decklid?

Remove the grill until the cover is adjusted correctly and has been checked for proper opening and closing.
Take the latch of the deck-lid, (Leave the latch off until the cover sits right) does it close properly? If the bottom edge is still sticking up, turn the rubber grommets in so the lid sits lowere when closed. Still not right? Add a washer or two or three in between the hinge and the lid at the top to balance it out left and right. Still not right? Slightly loosen all of the hinge hardware so that you can adjust the cover with pressure or by wiggling it. Close the lid and move it so that it is where you want it. Reach through the grill hole and tighten the hardware. Once you have it sitting right, put the latch into the hole and lower the cover to make sure it is going to shut all the way. It might stick up a little here. Release the latch, and attach it to the lid slightly loose. Lower the cover so that the latch pin aligns with the hole and eyeball it closely as you get lower, do not shut the lid. Tighten the bolts to the latch. Try it, adjust as necessary, open and close the lid several times and re-tighten everything. You could drive around a couple of days without the grill just to be sure the latch doesn't get stuck.

P.S. From the picture it looks like the lid simply needs to go forward about 1/8 ". You may want to put some tape around the edges while doing the adjustments to avoid damaging the paint.

Unless you have A/C; the rear condenser makes this part pretty difficult.
