Looking for replacement parts for a Bosch injector tester
Does anyone have a source for the glass or plastic reservoir on an older Bosch injector tester?
I have one that is missing the reservoir? Thanks Lorne M.

John,
Do you have part numbers and an exploded diagram? Mine is still complete and functional after 40+ years of use (new in 1969) but it could stand some attention. Do you know a P/N for the test oil? Available from Worldpac/Pelican? Best, Grady

Although not from the MFI tester, this might be useful - from the K-Jetronic injector tester (CIS)
Fluid container & Seals - 0 986 615 331 Valve Body Seal Kit - 0 986 615 335 Might be common parts John |

for fluid, i use mineral spirits. alternative numbers are KDJEP400-1 (bowl), and KDJEP400-10 (seal kit).

Lorne, I bought one of these. This is sold by a company that specializes in Mercedes, but the injector fitting is good for MFI injectors. I'm not familiar with the older Bosch testers, but perhaps the reservoir is similar enough to work for you. PS: I see that you are in the PNW. This company is located in Bellingham, WA.

These testers seem to take a bunch of different shapes.
Here is my mercedes diesel injector tester that im looking to freshen up to work with CIS injectors. Lorne I looked at the reservoir and unfortunately there are no part numbers on it. ![]()

I sent an email to Bosch asking about the resovoir availability and they replied...
Please contact our hotline at 1-800-521-5462. They should be able to assist you. Just give them the Bosch part # for Fluid container & Seals - 0 986 615 331 Hope this works out. |

Getting closer.
They gave me another number, who gave me another number but they didn't specal order parts so back again to Bosch and well I have another number who told me were to go.. nicely and lets see where this lead goes. After all this I hope the container works as the tester I have is the really old version with the two guage setup but the parts look doable. Thank again Lorne M.
