what is the diff between 3.6 Vs 3.0 fan?

I got a 3.6 long block and it is missing the fan/alternator, so what is the diff between 3.6 Vs 3.0 fan? is the 3.6 fan 11 blade?

3.6 has re-curved vanes for less noise at the expense of less efficiency and flow. Forward-curved blades would actually increase efficiency from what I hear. Too bad you can't run it backwards.

I think the diameters are the same so that a 3.6 fits a 3.0 housing and t'other-way-round.

Some expert should check me on these points, though.
