Wayne, yes I'm AOL and can not open the 930 Turbocharging forum. All other forums open.

Also, tried logging on Explorer and it links OK.

Thanks

Looks like the problem is with AOL. Yesterday it cleared up but back today.

All works on Explorer.

Some forums work on AOL others do not. ???

When I pass my cursor over a thread title, the balloon that showed the beginning of the thread's content no longer appears, as it did previously.

Jerome

EDIT: It now started showing. Seems inconsistent.

New server

Wayne, is faster, however need to log in each time I use it, and the small window that gives a thumbnail of the post will not appear unless I log in each time. Lynn

Serious jump in speed here in the sunny UK. Three cheers for the Internet!

Definitely saw the change in speed. It's awesome.

I did get kicked out and had to log back in. The second time I came back it asked me again to log in. I hit refresh, my computer recycled and wala, I was logged in without touching a key. It's just a cookies thing. No issues since.

Let's see... based on this logic, all I have to do is move my car to a garage closer to the freeway and it'll go faster! I like it!

Even on my iPhone in WiFi mode it downloads a page of photos instantly! Strong work!

You need to make sure that you are saving cookies for the pelicanparts.com domain. Your browser security is set too high and it's not remembering that you logged in. Also make sure that any bookmarks you have are correct - I would bookmark Pelican Parts Technical BBS - Powered by vBulletin and log in from there.

These are all browser / user computer specific issues that I have little control over.

Thx

-Wayne

Noticed it was faster before I found this post. Definitely faster here on the East coast.

P.S. - If I promise to not use your bandwidth, can I get a discount on parts?

At the bottom of the page there used to be a drop down that would let you navigate to other forums or back to the one you were in. Did that go away?

Edit: After I posted this it is back????? Maybe you have to be logged in.

My experience from Oz is that it's actually slower. I started noticing the speed decrease about the time that Wayne's note came up. :-( Anyone else down under concur?
