engine & tranny is comming out soon. aside from oil pressure switch, thermostat o-ring, oil cooler seals, is there ANYTHING else to address to avoid future oil leaks? 81'SC

change o-rings on engine oil cooler
change gaskets for the oil thermostat and crankcase breather tube change ALL clutch related parts...DO NOT SKIMP... do a valve adjustment MJ check tech articles of the oil leak fixes...you can email me if you have any question on my article |

Good time for a tranny gear oil change also. Much easier to fill the gear box when it is not in the car.
Also check that the Cam boxes are not leaking and that the oil return tubes are OK. If you are removing the Flywheel, be sure to order new bolts. |
