Changing from SC to 964 look..Help

I am updating the look of my 85 SC Targa to a 964 type look.

front and rear bumpers were no problem as the were after market. Here is my questions.. has anybody had experience with changing over the rocker covers from SC to 964?
What are some mounting suggestions?

I tried to search but couldn't find anything

Several have tried. The body mounts don't match up so the clips have to be, gulp, screwed into the body at about 5 or 6 locations. Might be a job for a body shop.

My brother in law is a body guy... so that is not a concern. .. I was hoping to avoid screwing. Maybe using panel adhesive or something

I've got some fiberglass rockers if you are looking, send a PM if interested.
